Well first I tried to install the typo on my web
space by myself. It worked somehow, but only
somehow… I wasn’t able to create contend and
the install procedure of typo3 V4 was a mess.
After trying around 2 weeks I “suspended” the
work on my homepage project for unknown time.
14 days ago my friend Georg showed me his new
project www.georgwoi.at/yoursite/ . I agreed to
let him install my webpage. Just after 2 days I was
seeing more on my page as I ever was able to get
in those 14 days by myself. Ok I thought to get
into the page handling with typo3 will be a hard
part. Then Georg explained me the basics of the
page handling in typo3 and I was overwhelmed
how easy you can extend the page menu, add new
sites, pictures ect. And seeing my own wordpress
blog was love on the first look. Wordpress is even
easier to handle. Georg delivered a solid peace of
work and was open to all my needings here and
there. I don’t want to think how long it would have
taken me to get the page up in this way by myself.
